Nourishing Little Minds

Welcome to Cumberland Hub Daycare, where we prioritize not only the well-being and education of your child but also their nutritional needs. At our center, we provide a balanced and nutritious midday meal, as well as morning and afternoon snacks, ensuring that your child receives the fuel they need for their active day. Water is offered throughout the day. Rest assured, we take dietary needs and allergies seriously, and all relevant information will be clearly posted in the cooking and serving areas for easy reference.

**Should your child have dietary restrictions causing anaphylaxis or allergies, you must meet with our supervisor prior to enrollment.

To assist you in planning your child’s meals at home, you can refer to the posted weekly menu plans for the current and following weeks.

In compliance with the board’s regulations, we maintain a strict NO nut policy to safeguard the health and safety of all children. We kindly request that parents refrain from bringing any food items into the building. By adhering to this policy, we create a secure environment for all children and minimize the risk of allergic reactions: Anaphylaxis + Other Allergic Reactions.

We understand the significance of celebrating birthdays, and at the end of each month, we come together for a joyous occasion known as “Cake Day”! It’s a special moment for the children to commemorate their birthdays collectively and indulge in a delightful treat. This tradition adds an element of excitement and fosters a sense of community among the children.

The toddlers enjoy mealtime in our unique toddler cafe, while the remaining groups enjoy mealtime in their respective classrooms. For our Before and After School programs, an afternoon snack is offered and when joining us for full days, our Kinders and School-agers must bring their own lunch (respecting our no nut policy), while being provided a morning snack and an afternoon snack.

We prioritize not only your child’s educational journey but also their health and happiness. By providing nutritious meals, accommodating dietary needs, and maintaining a safe food environment, we strive to create a nurturing and enjoyable experience for your child at our daycare.
