Welcome to the Cumberland Hub Daycare Center, your trusted provider of quality and educational childcare in Orleans and the east end of Ottawa for over 30 years! As a licensed and non-profit childcare center, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children – 18 months to 10 years old

Our facility, located in the tranquil neighborhood of Queenswood Heights, is designed with your child in mind. With spacious and vibrant program rooms filled with natural light and large park-like yards for energetic outdoor play, we offer a beautiful and engaging space for your child to learn and thrive. Safety is paramount, and our front door security system ensures a secure environment where your child can explore, discover, and grow with confidence.

Our Non-profit childcare center is run by Community Connection, Our Board Of Directors oversees & encourages parents and potential members of the community to join our volunteer Board to ensure the existence of our center. Please See the Supervisor for more information

Our team of dedicated and qualified Early Childhood Educators creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, fostering a love for learning and providing educational experiences that stimulate your child’s curiosity and imagination. We are proud to be recognized and supported by the Province of Ontario, the City of Ottawa, and the Federal Government of Canada, whose funding enables us to deliver a high-quality program year after year.

We are excited to announce our acceptance into the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System, allowing us to offer significant fee reductions to families.

We invite you to take a virtual tour of our facility. Once your child receives a space and starting date, we will be delighted to show you around in person. Registration is ongoing, with the majority of spaces becoming available in the summer. Limited spaces are currently available in our Kinder and School-age programs, specifically catering to Our Lady of Wisdom and Dunning-Foubert.
