My child joined the Hub when she was fifteen months old, and she had been in a home daycare setting prior to that. We were concerned about how she would do in a centralized daycare. However, from my first visit to the Hub, I have never looked back. The atmosphere and the teachers were excellent. My daughter transitioned in less than three days and now she is in the senior preschool program and really enjoys her day. She loves all the activities and circle time. We’ve been very impressed with all the different things she’s learned during her stay and how independent she has become. If we’ve ever had any concerns, we’ve always been able to talk to one of the teachers or Linda. The biggest compliment I can give to the Hub is that I wouldn’t trust my child to just anyone and now that we’ve got a second child, we look forward to having him enrolled here as well.
Our family came to Cumberland after troubling experiences at another daycare centre. From the moment we walked in we were nothing but impressed. The colours are bold and bright, the rooms are very large, the centre is very well kept, the outdoor play area is extremely spacious, and the food is all homemade and delicious. The staff are friendly, flexible, knowledgeable, trusting, nurturing, patient, caring, and extremely organized. They provided both of our children with that little extra something that they needed every day. Whether it be extra cuddles in the morning, or getting them to try new and different foods, makes this daycare and the staff that cared for our family extra special, and we will be forever grateful. Both of our children loved going here. As parents we felt we knew our children were receiving safe exceptional care and we never had to worry about them. They truly are our home away from home. We cannot say enough great things about this centre, thank you to all the staff, you will be truly missed by our family, keep up the outstanding care you do so well.

Cumberland Hub Day Care gave us peace of mind with its professional, deeply caring staff, attention to individual dietary and health needs, and building security system. We were absolutely delighted to discover Cumberland Hub’s spacious environment, conveniently located in Orleans: high ceilings framed by colorful walls filled with children’s artwork; daylight streaming through numerous windows; and outdoors, the generous park-like setting. Our daughter recently started at the Cumberland Hub Daycare (the Hub) in the Toddler Program. We chose to switch her to this daycare based on numerous recommendations from friends and colleagues. We wanted a safe and enriching environment for our daughter and what we found at the Hub was so much more. The Hub has provided everything we needed for our daughter’s care: developmental education; loving and nurturing staff; friendly and warm atmosphere; nutritious meals; well-managed facility; a large and safe place to play both inside and outdoors; convenient location (to the Orleans Park n’ Ride or to Highway); and exceptional care. Our daughter has thrived from the love, attention, and education provided by the staff at the Hub!
